A clean, accurate countdown timer that runs in any browser — no app, no signup. Set your duration using the hours, minutes and seconds fields, or tap one of the quick presets for common intervals like 5, 10 or 25 minutes. Press Start (or the Space bar) and the countdown begins.
When the timer reaches zero, the display flashes and the browser tab title shows "Done!" — so you get notified even if you have other tabs open. The countdown continues accurately in the background even when you switch away, and the tab title updates every second so you can glance at it without switching back.
Timing uses your browser's high-resolution monotonic clock, unaffected by system clock changes. Choose dark or light themes and cyan or rose accents — your choice is remembered the next time you visit.
Click or tap the hours, minutes, or seconds fields and type your desired duration. Or tap one of the quick preset buttons (1 min, 5 min, 10 min, etc.). Then press Start or hit the Space bar to begin the countdown.

Space bar starts and pauses the timer. R resets the timer back to the duration you set. These shortcuts work as long as you are not typing in an input field.
Yes. The hours field accepts values from 0 to 99, so you can set timers up to 99 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds.
